“Me and others don’t understand why our rent at the south Charleston facility goes up for things that this facility doesn’t have but the other storage facility do. There’s no gates, no fencing and no security cameras at this storage facility, and not all of the outside lights work.”

“The unit itself is fine. Even though I ordered the unit online and was given access code to move in on a Sunday, the access code was wrong. No one was in the office and no emergency phone number anywhere. So that delayed my move in by a day. Not a big deal but did put a wrench in my plans and I had a uhaul needing to be returned so I had to work extra fast to get moved in by return time. Showed up the next day at 8:40am. Office was supposed to open at 8am. Storage manager did show up and apologized because he had to go to another site to unlock a unit. Manager was friendly and came and took off the lock. Was hoping he would offer a pro rate for the day that I was unable to use the unit but was not offered that. Also, the space between the buildings is super tight. Had I went to the office and got the unit I may have been able to pick one that was easier accessible since I had a 15 ft uhaul and a trailer but we managed fine. An emergency phone line would be helpful for urgent requests. But not a deal breaker.”

“So I work from 630am to 630pm, I had one chance to get off at 430pm but cause of traffic I didn’t pull up to gateway self storage until 5pm, Ashley was at the door, thank god after I explained she turned the alarm off and took the time to sell me a unit thank God.
