“Very disappointing. This storage area has gone downhill since Prestige Storage has taken it over. Some weeds around the RV are more than knee high and make it difficult to read the cone with our space #. There are junk cars, a space taken by a garbage truck and overflowing dumpster, another space with old pallets piled up, and others with junky-looking debris. It isn’t the welcoming place for nice RVs and boats that it used to be. And the rent continues to go up.”

“This was the worst experience! When I moved my stuff because annual rate increases got out of control my unit was filthy from mice infestation. Fortunately i had hard plastic to store majority of my things but it was disgusting trying to clean up everything before moving it to a newer place and a bigger unit for half the price! Stay away from Prestige Properties!”

“Edit: called by Tim, he was sorry but still my experience as a tenant for 2 years was rate hiked too high. They claim that is market price. Thank goodness I found 1$ a square foot elsewhere in the same market. They told me they didn’t care if I couldn’t afford the rate hike, then got short on the phone when I had questions asking them to explain market pricing and also asking if I could talk to someone seeing as I’ve been there and made my payments on time for 2 years. I don’t hope you fail, but your employee hopes our family does. I am sorry that I gave you money for so long. I’m not sure how me having to call you after doing so a few times to try to speak with a real person is a resolution, you already treated me poorly and you can call me if it’s worth it to you. Thanks for calling and saying you’ll work with your staff, it doesn’t really affect me because the damage was done. Hope the best for you in a competitive market.”

“Elizabeth or Liza the in charge is very accommodating and helpful. The unit I got is very new and if I am not mistaken I am the 1st renter of the unit. Location wise is very near to my place and the entire storage place is clean.”

“Moving out after 10 years here in ypsi. Used to pay 148 for 2 units. Prestige bought it and it went to $244. I emptied 1 and now the one is going to $176. I found a space somewhere else that canfit2 cars in for $175. It’s 15×30. The one at prestige is 10×15. No Brainer. I noticed while moving out that most of the units are empty. They have Zip ties on them.”

“I rent two storage spaces to store my camper in when not in use. I need to be able to access my camper sometimes when the office is not open. Normally this works okay. I prefer to use the gate closest to the camper for entry to the lot because of positioning of the stored camper. One improvement to help provide easier exiting through the gate closest to the office would be to relocate the trash dumpster which sometimes reduces the driveway width. This is especially important when exiting the lot and cars are parked across the street from the gate. Tail swing of the camper is always a concern when towing.”
