"Put all of our house belongings into 2 temperature controlled storage units and they both flooded from a broken pipe in Dec 2022. Storage company accepted NO responsibility for this and just had a service clean up the mess in which even more belongings were broken. We had to file a claim with our insurance to get any reimbursement which took about a year and aged us both at least 5 yrs. If you want to learn how to file an insurance claim, go through wet boxes of damaged goods, learn how easy it is to completely fill up a dumpster, and listen to insurance reps tell you that you can just dry clean your clothes to remove black mold and die transfer, AND wet stained furniture can be refinished like new than I suggest you sign up for a year or two and learn why people get pissed off, break things and don't sleep for weeks on end and lament on the loss of irreplaceable items. However, I would recommend to seek out another storage company not at all affiliated with Lorain Baumhart Storage."
